More about us.

Hi.

Our names are Adam and Edwin. We would like to think of ourselves as quite carp mad men. Maybe a good way to kick start is to tell you where it all started, but first, our personal best Carp are 22lb 9oz (Adam) and 22lb 12oz (Edwin) . Going back to what I was meant to start with, we have been members of our local fishing club for a minimum of 3 years.
After participating in a few fishing matches, Adam's true colour shone through as a carp fisherman - a Carper. For 3 years, His PB was a measly 9Lb. After targeting a different lake on our club's complex, his skills developed and PBs were broken one-by-one.
Though Adam has had his fair share of some spectacular fish from his main target water, the rest of us are not too far behind him. Though we are still on track to hopefully to catch one of the real big'uns in there. We will always strive to beat the next thing in front of us - it's what keeps us all fishing.

We all prefer to do close-quarter work on small lakes rather than use heavy baiting and stupendously long range work. Our main belief is that skill and genuine hard work can be assessed on the lakeside for anything in life. You could, if you have a broad enough imagination, link everyday scenarios with fishing concepts.

So, whether you match, carp, pike or do whatever you feel like on the day, lets see what turns up when we wet a line for next time.  We all hope to see you on the bank one day - and don't be scared to say 'Hi', we won't bite.

the Carp Mad Men.
